Welcome to AI Swedish Section´s
Annual General Meeting and Human Rights Conference in Ljungskile!

The Swedish Section's AGM for the year 2002 will take place in the beautiful west coast town of Ljungskile (appr. 80 km north of Gothenburg) between May 3rd - 5th 2002. This year's AGM will be combined with a Human Rights conference focusing on topics as diverse as AI:s potential as an activist-led organization as well as anti-terrorist laws and their global impact on human rights. We are very pleased to welcome Mr Jonathan Power, author of Like Water on Stone, the Story of Amnesty International, as our guest at the AGM.

Martin Clark from the International Secretariat, will tell us more about Campaigning in the future. Sauro Scarpelli, also from the International Secretariat will together with Robert Parker from AI-UK host a seminar featuring MSP-rights.

Other AI sections represented (and confirmed) at this year's AGM will be John Peder Egenaes from AI-Norway.
